Next we tried to find Cassidy's class, but when we got to Ms. Roer's classroom we found out that she only teaches ELL (English Language Learners) students. Apparently there is new staff doing the class assignments and they didn't know that Ms. Roer only taught ELL. So we headed to the office where there were a zillion parents trying to figure things out. We were able to talk to someone quite quickly and she was reassigned to Mrs. Pedersen's class. Here she is in her new favorite shirt, bright red with a charm necklace attached and her new Reeboks ($16.00 at Ross!!!)
Alex's class was the easiest to find because we went to an open house on Monday. He has Miss Ptak (pronounced p-tack). He was so excited this morning that after he was dressed and had gone to the bathroom he put on his new Tommy Hilfiger shoes ($9.00 at Ross!!) and his backpack and was ready to go! I had to remind him that he needed breakfast. He had no separation anxiety at the classroom door, just hung his backpack on the hook and sat down without even giving me a good-bye hug. Here he is in his new shoes and Lightning McQueen shirt.
Of course Brooklyn couldn't be left out of the picture fun, so here she is in all her crazy-morning-hair glory. She even wanted her tennis shoes on like all the other kids.
These are more pictures of the kids, some are with our neighbor girls, Tasia and Kahlia Wallace, who needed rides to school this morning.
